A few Skybox facilities have documented AI/high-density design features rather than being generic colocation halls. Its Houston campus was built with proprietary "DoubleDense" technology capable of supporting up to 1,000 watts per square foot using immersion cooling, well beyond standard air-cooled colocation densities. Its Santa Clara, California building — Skybox's largest and first Silicon Valley project — includes a high-performance-compute data hall using single-phase immersion cooling. More broadly, the company's newer PowerCampus developments (Dallas, Austin, Wichita Falls) are explicitly marketed as built for "hyperscale and AI computing" with large private substations to support AI-scale power draws.
