Norway's AQ-OSL1 was designed as an AI-ready colocation data center from its February 2024 launch, with NexGen Cloud as the inaugural tenant with 6MW of AI capacity. The site is being expanded specifically for AI and HPC demand: the two new phases, AQ-OSL1B and AQ-OSL1C, will be entirely liquid-cooled, with an integrated closed loop cooling circuit... for the cooling of the racks, rear door heat exchangers (RDHX), immersion cooling and direct to chip cooling technology will be available, meeting the requirements of efficient AI-ready operations. Once complete, the campus's power potential rises to 171 MW.
