Orange Business Data Centers in Europe

Orange Business’s European footprint of 23 confirmed facilities is heavily weighted toward France, which alone accounts for eight sites anchored by the flagship Normandy campus at Val-de-Reuil. Romania is the next-largest cluster, with six facilities spread across Brasov, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Galati, reflecting the depth of Orange’s telecom and IT services operations in the country, while Poland’s three cities (Krakow, Szczecin, Warsaw) and Belgium’s two-city footprint (Antwerp, Zaventem) round out the western and central European presence. The Nordic sites in Oslo and Solna lean on the region’s renewable power grids and cold climates for efficient cooling, and France’s own portfolio is now undergoing a notable structural shift: Orange has struck a deal with investment firm Morrison to jointly scale part of its French data center assets roughly tenfold to 400MW of capacity, a cross-border capital move that only makes sense viewed at the continental scale rather than country by country.
